Let's just start with the basics...
First things first… what does ABA even stand for? ABA is the acronym stands for Applied Behavioral Analysis. We know, that isn’t very explanatory, but it’s because the science behind ABA is one of the most data driven sciences that requires the Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA’s) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT’s) to apply behavior intervention programs to a child’s therapy session and analyze the data outcomes. ABA therapy is ultimately based on the science of learning and behavior, by applying our understanding of how behavior works to real-life scenarios. The goal of therapy is to increase behaviors that are helpful to the patient while simultaneously decreasing behaviors that are harmful, disruptive, or affect a child’s learning.
EVIDENCE BASED. DATA DRIVEN. DREAM SHAPING.

How does ABA Therapy Work?
Applied Behavior Analysis involves many techniques for understanding and changing behavior. ABA is a flexible treatment:
-
Can be adapted to meet the needs of each unique person
-
Provided in many different locations – at home, at school, and in the community
-
Teaches skills that are useful in everyday life
-
Can involve one-to-one teaching or group instruction

After we get your child enrolled, we will complete an intake interview, an initial assessment will be conducted by a BCBA, and then we will seek out authorization from your child's insurance company (if insured) for the prescribed hours of therapy. Once authorized, our BCBA and RBTs will be scheduled to conduct therapy in the comfort of your child's own home, in a clinic setting, anywhere in the community like a park or community center, or even your child's school!
